1.Macbeth, Shakespeare,  the graphic novel: 3.5/5 stars

A Scottish General named Macbeth receives a prophecy that states that he will become the King one day. He is overwhelmed by ambition and he kills the King to make the throne his own. He is swallowed by guilt and paranoia and gets his head chucked off.

2. Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian: 5/5 stars

The Last book in the PJO series follow Percy Jackson as he leads his friends into a final stand against the Titans. A Greek mythology based YA fantasy, this book promises bursts of emotion, action and humor.

APRIL

1. A Court of Thorns and Roses, Sara J Maas.  4.5/5 stars

A fantasy retelling of Beauty and the Beast, this book follows Feyre as she ventures to pay for the life she mistakingly took into the territory of the enemies of humans.

2. A Court of Mist and Fury, Sara J Maas . 5/5 stars

A sequel to A Court of Thorns and Roses, this book shows Feyre as she battles the mental scarring that has reduced her to little. Her love seems to be falling apart and leading to a new home, a new Court.

3. Fangirl, Rainbow Rowell. 4.9/5 stars

A YA contemporary novel following a pair of twins Cath and Wren as the venture into college, learn to live away from their comfort zones, find Friends and love, a story of family and fiction, diversifying the usual belief of the ‘ average teenager’, this book is one hell of a journey.

4. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.  4.7/5 stars

Harry Potter and Dumbledore’s warning about the return of Voldemort is paid a deaf ear by the wizard authorities who, in turn, look to undermine and subsequently abolish Dumbledore’s authority at Hogwarts.
