Motivational Books and Authors

Sometimes life seems to get out of hand and you seem to have no control over it. The days pass like a dream, without you knowing; you begin to doubt yourself and your motive in life. It is in times like this that motivation is at its least .

This post is all about the books and authors who have kept me motivated in those times.

‘The Monk who sold his Ferrari’ by Robin Sharma: This amazing book shows us what matters on the inside that can change your outward reality. It will make you rethink life. It is the story of Robin himself getting out of his sedentary, unfulfilling lifestyle into the realm of mastery.

I first read it when my friend lent it to me. When I gave it back to her, I missed the constant motivation and so I bought the E-book and then I wanted the paperback so I got that too. So yeah. The obsession was real.

‘The Secret to Success’ by Dr.Eric Thomas: If you are a person who is in love with the whole ‘motivation’ world, you might as well be a fan of ET. ‘the hip hop preacher’ as he is called shows us how he went from eating out of trashcans to being PhD in Education. He will show you the power of human thinking and will compel you to be one of the very best. You might have come across his famous quote, ‘When you want to succeed as bad you want to breathe, then you’ll be successful’. Cheers!

‘The Greatness Guide’ by Robin Sharma: This a book with immensely helpful advice for reaching your best possible self and for entrepreneurs who are stuck in any unhealthy situation in business.(I am no entrepreneur though, but it applies to everyone.)

‘The Greatness Guide 2’ by Robin Sharma: People loved the first book so much that they requested a second. I seem to be obsessed with this guy but truly, his words move me.

‘The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People’ by Stephen Covey : Stephen brings forward an amazing formula for being effecting and encouraging self help through being proactive, thoughtful and knowing one’s priorities.
